Shipping Policy

All of our backdrops are made-to-order. Orders are typically processed within 7 business days. Please allow extra processing time during or just after large sales (up to 14 business days). If you need your order Rush Processed, please add this listing to your cart here. This does NOT include shipping time. Shipping time varies based on delivery location and shipping method chosen during check out.

For your convenience, we offer a variety of shipping options through UPS and USPS. Standard/Ground shipping is typically 2-9 business days. USPS Priority Mail 2-Day or 3-Day puts your package as a priority, and is typically delivered within that time frame, but 2 or 3 day delivery is not guaranteed and is non-refundable per USPS. We try our hardest to process orders very quickly, but shipping time is out of our control. Our backdrops ship from the state of Idaho. If you are located on the East Coast and select USPS Standard Post or UPS Ground Shipping, expect your package to take at least 7-9 business days to arrive. Keep in mind that these are large shipping tubes and do not ship as fast as First Class Mail. HSD Backdrops is not responsible for delayed shipping and will not refund shipping or orders if your delivery does not arrive when expected. Please do not schedule your shoot based on the estimated arrival date on the tracking page as this date is often incorrect. Estimated delivery date through UPS and USPS are only an estimate and your package is not guaranteed to arrive on that date. Please note: priority shipping does not speed up the processing time. When selecting your shipping option please keep in mind that there is a processing time of up to 5 business days (longer during sales) before your order is shipped. Once your order is shipped you will receive a shipping confirmation which includes a tracking number so that you can track the status of your package.  Please be sure to have your package shipped to a secure location. HSD Backdrops is not responsible for stolen packages.

*UPS does not deliver to P.O. Boxes. If selecting UPS please do not use a P.O. Box!

International customers, please note that your order total does NOT include any customs fees or duties. These fees are the responsibility of the buyer and are not included in your shipping total. If a package is refused, the customer will be charged the customs fees, duties and a return fee. No refunds will be issued for the order or shipping.

 

Q: My backdrop arrived damaged. What can I do?

A: If you receive a damaged product YOU MUST CONTACT US WITHIN 7 DAYS OF RECEIPT. We will need photos of the damage to the shipping tube and damage to the backdrop. These photos are required for us to file a claim. After we have received the photos of the damage, you may receive an affidavit that needs to be signed an returned. Once the images and affidavit are received, a replacement backdrop will be shipped out immediately.  *INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: You MUST file Form 2856 with USPS, and email us a copy, if your order arrives damaged and we will need a copy of that form. Replacement backdrops will be sent for international orders after Form 2856 is sent to us and damage photos are received.
