Return Policy

All Sales Are Final - All backdrops are made-to-order based on the design, size, and material you select. Once your order is sent to production, no cancellations, exchanges, or returns can be accepted. Please double-check all details before placing your order.

In limited circumstances, we may allow an exchange for the same design in a different size or material. Any approved exchange will be subject to additional shipping fees and applicable restocking charges.

  • The customer is responsible for all shipping costs, including return shipping.
  • A restocking fee of up to 50% may apply, as the returned backdrop will need to be added to our clearance section at a deeply discounted price.
  • If approved, a new order must be placed for the same design in the new size or material. The original backdrop must then be returned within 7 days of receipt in brand-new, unused condition.
  • If the returned backdrop shows signs of use, dirt, or damage, HSD Backdrops reserves the right to issue a partial refund based on its condition.
  • Exchanges are only permitted for the same design.

Please note that we cannot accept exchanges for seasonal or holiday designs within 30 days of that holiday or season. For example: Christmas backdrops cannot be exchanged after November 25th.

If you receive a damaged product, YOU MUST CONTACT US WITHIN 48 HOURS OF RECEIPT with photos of the damage to the packaging and damage to the backdrop. Photo must be received within 48 hours of receipt. These photos are required for us to file a claim. After we have received the photos of the damage, you will receive an affidavit that needs to be signed a returned. Once the images and affidavit are received, a replacement backdrop will be sent into production immediately. 

Please open your package within 48 hours of receipt. If you received the wrong product by mistake, or there are any issues, we must be notified within 7 days of receipt. If it is our error, we will create a new order for a replacement. We do not offer refunds. 

Our backdrops are printed in CMYK color and your monitor is showing you RGB color. The colors you see on the website are intended to be used as a guide as there may be variances in color with different monitor calibrations. Because we cannot control the color reproduction of a customer’s computer monitor, we cannot guarantee that the actual print color will precisely match the example as it appears on your monitor. Grunge/texture/distressing may be found on some designs and is intentional. No refunds or returns are given for color differences.
