Download the template that matches the exact backdrop size you plan to order and use it to prepare your custom artwork for printing.
Backdrop Sizes Are Listed Width First
A 5' × 7' backdrop is 5 feet wide and 7 feet tall, creating a portrait crop. A 7' × 5' backdrop is 7 feet wide and 5 feet tall, creating a landscape crop.
How to Prepare Your Artwork
- 1 Choose Your Size Select the exact size you intend to order.
- 2 Download the Template Use the matching template provided below.
- 3 Add Your Artwork Fit your image to the complete template dimensions.
- 4 Inspect at 100% Check for blurriness, pixelation, or other quality concerns.
- 5 Export Your JPG Save in RGB color at the listed size and DPI.

Please Review Your Artwork at 100%
Before submitting your file, open it in Photoshop or another professional image-editing program and inspect it at 100%. Confirm that important details are crisp and that the artwork does not appear blurry or pixelated.
Enlarging a small or low-resolution image to fit a template does not add detail or improve its printing quality.
Custom Backdrop Policies
- Due to the personalized nature of custom backdrops, all custom backdrop sales are final.
- We do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds because of dissatisfaction caused by low-resolution or poor-quality artwork submitted by the customer.
- Customers must own the submitted artwork or have permission from the copyright owner to reproduce it. By submitting artwork, you confirm that you have the necessary rights and authorization to have it printed.
- We cannot print copyright- or trademark-protected artwork without authorization. This includes licensed cartoon characters, movie and television characters, professional photographs, illustrations, logos, and other artwork owned by another person or company.
- We may request proof of ownership or written authorization before printing. If acceptable documentation or replacement artwork cannot be provided, the custom order may be canceled and refunded.
- If your backdrop arrives damaged, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery and provide the requested photographs and documentation.
- HSD Backdrops reserves the right to refuse service. If submitted artwork is determined to be inappropriate or cannot legally be reproduced, the order may be canceled and refunded.
